Acharyas was founded as a general practice law firm in 1991. For our first fourteen years we practiced as a general practice in areas of Family Law, Residential and Commercial Conveyancing,  Immigration and Litigation. In the last ten years we began to focus on Immigration law, and this soon became our exclusive area of practice. Our focus is on Asylum, Human Rights and Family Immigration, including European Union Applications and Business Immigration. 

As a small firm, we have the opportunity to get to know our clients, their background, needs by direct contact with them. We will focus on their goals and will be straightforward about the merits of their case. We will invest time with our clients to get all the necessary information properly so that we can ourselves prepare the case from the beginning to its conclusion.

Our Senior Immigration Solicitor, Mr Jitendra Acharya, has been working in this area for nearly 20 years. Our Solicitors have conduct of their cases from the initial instruction right through to the conclusion of the case. Our Senior Solicitor will have conduct of any advocacy before the Immigration Tribunal.

Our Firm’s focus is on assisting private clients with relocating to the UK, Leave to Remain applications, applications for settlement in the UK and matters relating to British Citizenship, as well as helping clients with more complex issues should they arise. We advise on cases across the entire spectrum of Private Client UK immigration law and we are experienced in helping individuals throughout the whole preparation and application process.

We always make sure that members of staff are supported and supervised appropriately so that the quality of advice is not affected. All our staff work under the direct supervision of our senior Solicitor.
